NASCAR Cup Series Schedule Changes for New Hampshire Motor Speedway
From 2004 to 2017, New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosted both a playoff race and a regular season race in the NASCAR Cup Series. However, in 2018, the venue lost its playoff race weekend, transitioning to a single regular season event. In 2025, New Hampshire briefly returned to the playoffs but relinquished its regular season date. For the 2026 season, New Hampshire will again host a regular season race, specifically the penultimate event before the playoffs commence. This change was made to reinstate Homestead-Miami Speedway as the season finale host, which had previously held this position from 2002 to 2019 before being replaced by Phoenix Raceway. The upcoming schedule adjustments will see Las Vegas Motor Speedway take New Hampshire's place in the playoff structure, while Kansas will now open the round of 12. The NASCAR Cup Series is set to kick off its 2026 season with the Daytona 500 on February 15, broadcast live from Daytona International Speedway.
NASCAR Cup Series Manchester Sport reviews
First timers at CMS!
We had a very good experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Bank of America 400 "Roval" event.
Parking was a breeze, and traffic was reasonable when the event was over.
The fan zone was a fun experience to enjoy before the gates opened.
Our seats in the Club deck area (very much worth the few extra dollars) had great views, we were close to restrooms and concessions. There is an elevator that took us to our level which was most appreciated since my wife had injured herself earlier in the week and climbing steps would have been very difficult for her.
Overall we had a great time and would recommend that if you are thinking of attending an event at CMS, don't hesitate! We feel that you will have an extraordinarily great time.
